Okay I'm going to admit to something...on Brian we have virtual reality simulators, so we can step inside the story and do as we please. Imagine my surprise when I was first confronted with a machine, a controller and a sofa. I was informed that I was to sit on the sofa with a controller in my hands and tap buttons to make an onscreen character do something...how quaint I thought to myself...during my time here I have dipped my clawed toe into several types of games on different forms of computer.
My ship can play any game for any console but for the true Earther experience I used actual money to buy a few consoles. I am not a PC gamer and I tend to favour the PS3 to the Xbox 360. Now I am aware that there is now a PS4 and an Xbox One, however, I do not currently bother with either of these consoles and here's why. In my opinion there is simply no reason to have them at the moment, games such as Alien Isolation and Grand Theft Auto 5 are on the PS3, so there is no point to spend out for a next-generation console until something genre defining comes out for it.
Most games that I play are part of franchises so there are going to be a fair amount of reviews of sequels or games series.
I have an Xbox 360, a Wii, a GameCube but I am bias towards PS3 so apologies to those of you who like the former consoles rather than the latter. But the rules still apply, if I like a game or it gives me a reason to want to talk about it for any games platform (even PC games) then I shall throw in my two pennies worth.
TAC Reviews...Update
Recently I decided to purchase a PS4, yes, I know that I said after the dick move pulled by Sony with the PS3 in which you lose all of your data if your console goes tits up unless you pay for Playstation Plus I would just play games on my ship’s computer from now on. But that does not give me the true Earthling game experience so I threw caution to the wind and bought myself a PS4. I am also now on Playstation Plus so my data can be backed up online so there is no danger of my data being lost this time.
